Become a SIICA member

• be part of the Italian immunological community
• become automatically member of EFIS (European Federation of immunology societies), of IUIS (International Union of immunology societies) and then enjoy the privileges of membership in the context of international conferences and events.
• be informed on the major initiatives in immunology
• contribute to the promotion of Italian immunological culture
• participate in the initiatives for the young researchers (<35 years), not structured, such fellowships, travel grants and prizes awarded in the various initiatives

Italian scientists or foreign scientists with interest in Immunology, Clinical Immunology and Allergology and belonging to organizations or associations interested in these subjects are eligible to join the Association as Effective Members.

To become an Effective Member (SE) rules are provided in the following way:

1. apply for admission on the appropriate on line form, with attached curriculum vitae and list of publications, with the presentation of two Effective Members;
2. be the author or co-author of at least three publications in international journals;
3. obtain approval of the Executive Council, with subsequent ratification by the General assembly;
4. pay the annual membership fee, as defined by the assembly.

The Effective Members have both the active and the passive electorate, but may claim from the completion of the second year of a regular subscription to the Company, including as Corresponding Member. Can also participate in all events of the Association, has access to all publications of the Association, it may propose to the Executive Council the acceptance of new members and the themes of the meeting, has the right to vote in the assemblies and participate and possible referendums on issues interesting the Association.

Membership status (SE) decade for resignation, for non-payment of dues (over three years) or deliberate exclusion by the General Meeting, at the proposal of Arbitration, for serious reasons.

Young Italian scientists or foreign scientists with interest in Immunology, Allergology and Clinical Immunology and the belonging to organizations or associations interested in these subjects are eligible to join the Association as Members Correspondents.

To become a Corresponding Member rules are provided in the following way:

1. apply for admission on the appropriate online form, with attached curriculum vitae and list of publications, to the Executive Council with the presentation of two Effective Members;
2. obtain a favorable opinion of the Executive Council, with subsequent ratification by the General Assembly;
3. pay the annual membership fee, as defined by the General assembly

Corresponding Members have the same rights as Effective Members, but do not enjoy neither active nor passive electorate.

Membership status Correspondent decade due to resignation or deliberate exclusion by the General Meeting, at the proposal of Arbitration, for serious reasons. Within three years from admission Corresponding Members must submit an application to become Effective Members, if they are in possession of the conditions under Art. 7 of the SIICA Statute, penalty decay.
